The vision was to offer unique programs and care for the aging; not only to OUMC members, but to residents of Oriental and the surrounding communities as well.  Over the years, this much needed program has grown and expanded with the steadfast focus to help those 50+ remain connected, engaged, active healthy and as independently functioning as possible.  Services and programs offered assist older individuals navigate the health care system as well as secure needed physical, emotional, and spiritual care.  Numerous and diverse ongoing programs such as Lunch & Learn, educational classes/seminars, transportation, prayer shawls, shut in/assisted living visitation, meal sharing/socialization, etc. are also offered.  All services/programs are free of charge and only small nominal fees are periodically collected to cover incidental items such as class supplies.  With all that is offered, one does not have to look far to see that for well over a decade, "PrimeTime" includes all members of the community, as it fulfills the mission of "serving those in the prime time of their lives".
